About the Lab

Welcome to the Animal Behaviour Lab at QUT, based in the School of Earth, Environmental and Biological Sciences. The lab is led by Professor Stuart Parsons having moved from the the University of Auckland in 2014 . The lab is currently home to a Visiting Fellow, 4 PhD students and an occupational trainee, with research spanning multiple disciplines (including ecology, behaviour, acoustics and conservation) and taxa (bats, birds, insects, marine mammals). We conduct research in Australia, New Zealand and around the world (e.g. Taiwan, Belize, Brunei).

If you are interested in visiting the lab then please contact Professor Parsons. Prospective students should read the instructions on this site prior to contacting Professor Parsons.
